Prayer

The Church at Victorville is deeply committed to fasting and prayer for national and personal deliverance. But remember Yisrael, prayer alone is not enough...

Beloved Hebrews, in spite of our zeal for YAH as Yisraelites, the truth is, many of us are seeking national repatriation without personal sacrifice...

In other words, we don't make the connection between afflicting our souls through fasting, and having the Power to overcome the enemy.

Brethren, with all of our zeal to keep the dietary laws, some of us overlook the need to periodically abstain from clean foods as well! As Mashiakh taught, some unclean spirits cannot be cast out without prayer and fasting.

The other missing piece to our prayer is passion. The New Covenant reminds us that the "...fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Selah.

This precept was in full effect in Ha Mashiakh Himself, "Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto unto Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared" (Heb. 5:7).

According to the manuscript, we must turn toward Zion in prayer. This we do in reclaiming our heritage as Hebrew Yisraelites in Messiah -- and rightfully so.

Even so, my brethren, the hour has come when we must add fasting and fervency to our faithfulness! Repatriation can only come through unity...

And unity can only come through holiness. And holiness can only come through fasting and fervent prayer!

Join with us, O Yisrael, as we turn to the Most High in teshuvah-repentance; crying out to Him, that He may pour out His Grace and Mercy upon us through Messiah, and grant us national forgiveness and restoration.
